Is it really that good of a treat? 
Not sure where you live, but there's a dessert chain in the northeast called Rita's which serves something similar to what you are describing and they call it a gelati. It's soft custard-style ice cream on the bottom with Italian ice (basically a snow cone or slush) on top and topped with a little dab of ice cream for pretty. It's very good.
